I
know I said instructions are important and we need to follow instructions, but
I figured I need to make people understand some things. Yes, instructions are
important, but at some point, as much as you need to follow certain
instructions, you also need to follow your instinct. Don’t get me wrong here!
It’s not all the time you have to wait for instructions, sometimes, you just
need to follow your instinct!
One
basic truth I’ve come to learn is that small people move by instructions, while
great people move by instinct, instructions and experience. We all know
instruction is ‘telling someone what to do, giving someone orders and all or
better still, receiving directions from a more experienced person.
So when I say small
people move by instructions, I mean to say they lack the ability to reason
themselves, most of the times, they are dependent. Dependent on people’s
lifestyle, on people’s directives and all. They can’t stand on their own, thus
they’re limited, instructions limit you. Small people do not understand the
power of the moment and thus cannot do anything.
Great people however
move by instinct! They are risk-takers, they do not stop they get that which
they are after. They are unlike the small people who lack the A-Z of thinking, they believe in themselves. They
are the type of people who do not see anything wrong in trying time-over-time.
They do not see failures are failures, but rather as a stepping stone to
success.
The instinct is the
inner push to understand the power of the moment, so as much as you follow
directives from the experienced ones, also follow your instinct!
