Our young ones know all about hate
Even before they were eight
Ask them don't we matter?
Say to the men in uniforms
They took an oath to protect us all
Not to make and see us all
They took an oath to keep us from harms
Not to open to us, their arsenal of fire arms
Ask them, don't we matter?
Say to our neighbours
He created us the same way, on the same day
Should we then be judged by the colour of our skin
And not the intent of our heart?
Ask them tearfully, don't we matter?
Say to our young ones
Be strong!
Your tomorrow won't be like this
There is hope!
Tell them courageously, there is hope!
Then go into the world
Speak to their body's guest
There will be stabbing, but don't stop blabbing
Until they say, all lives matter
Just like BLACK LIVES MATTER!
